Jaqueline Orozco is a Senior Counsel at Orbach Huff & Henderson. Jaqueline’s practice is focused on labor and employment matters, including enforcement of prevailing wage actions.
Jaqueline also represents K-12 schools, community colleges and universities in employment actions. In addition, Jaqueline has experience advising public entity on Brown Act, conflict of interest, Public Record Act matters and in the handling of stop payment notices. With over ten years of experience representing public school districts and public agencies throughout the state, Jaqueline has assisted K-12 and community college districts to achieve expedient and efficient resolution in a variety of matters.
Jaqueline is a mentor with the Legal Education Access Pipeline and Mexican American Bar Association.
Jaqueline graduated from Yale University and received her Juris Doctor from University of Iowa College of Law, where she served on the editorial board of the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice.
Jaqueline is a native of Los Angeles who grew up in Watts and graduated from Markham Middle School and David Starr Jordan High. Jaqueline is a Commissioner on the City of Los Angeles, South Los Angeles Area Planning Commission and sits on the Board of Directors for the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.
