Inés Kuperschmit is Of Counsel with Orbach Huff & Henderson LLP (OHH Legal). She is a specialist in children’s rights, student services and special education law. Before joining OHH Legal, Ines co-founded and ran a legal services nonprofit in Los Angeles which trains and advocates for parents in the area of education civil rights. She brings her community-based expertise working with parents and students to now assist school districts in quickly and equitably resolving education disputes.
Previously, Ines worked as a children’s rights lawyer focusing on complex cases at the intersection of the Foster Care, Juvenile Justice, mental health, and public education systems.
Ines originally hails from Argentina, and grew up in the Washington DC area. She moved out to California to attend UCLA Law’s Program in Public Interest Law and Policy, and never left.
By day, when Ines is not lawyering, she is engaged in civic activism, philanthropy, and crafting with her six active kids.By night, you’ll find Ines stress baking in the kitchen while playing her favorite Spotify playlists.
